My aversion to homework is so intense that I would rather read about other peoples' crappy days for hours than do it. I found out about the site from a friend and have grown strangely attached. The horrifying stories of people falling asleep during class and farting loudly for everyone to hear has helped me achieve my first week of staying awake in every class. Also after all the stories of men cheating on their wives and vice versa I have come to the conclusion that marriage is way more dangerous than the average romance movie makes it seem (tragic revelation for a sixteen year old)
"I wish my homework was asexual so it would do itself."
Well another check on my bucket list *almost*.
I have signed up for the school play.
I got the commitment slip signed.
I went and got my script.

On my way
Delayed gratification! It's been weeks since I thought about this blog, and I finally got on today to find that... I fulfilled one of my many yens! We had a social event this Saturday at the TBS Ranch! Student Council called it the Harvest Hoedown lol The locale was perfect! There was a hayride, pumpkin carving, pie eating contest, we had to dress somebody up as a scarecrow, there was a BBQ, and pie for dessert but BEST OF ALL... we learned two basic square dances! lol Cross that off of my Bucket List! Aha a RANDOM THOUGHT just popped into my head! I am going to use this blog to record my fulfilled dreams! Sweet! It's always nice having a direction, rather than spitting out random thoughts.
I thrive on change and lately I have found my life falling into a downward spiraling routine. A stodgy routine! So I am determined to fix it! Brainstorming, planning-plotting, contemplating, I am in overdrive trying to resist the rut that so many people are stuck in. My bucket list is one way of giving my life direction.

With a touch of stars

Ever made a bucket list? lol ya know a list of things you want to do before you die? I started my first journal the day before my 16th birthday and in the back is my bucket list. I am going to be a busy girl! Going on five months now and the list is almost up to 100! I looked over them just to see how ridiculous they are and well.... some of them are really out there. lol My last one was learn to square dance. I have been watching That 70's Show on youtube and one of the episodes had square dancing and of course now I want to learn how! lol Life is going to be a real ride if I do even half of the things on my list and sadly it's still growing.
Random: Love the smell of night! The past two nights I have been going out on my roof to look at the stars and just enjoy some quiet time, talk to Him, and going out there HAS TO BE the perfect end to a great day, to anyday really.

There... these key words will hopefully trigger this memory in years to come, because I for some reason have the hardest time remembering even the best and most fun of memories.

I could sleep on this dinosaur

Everybody has their weird quirks. My dad spends hours on ebay everyday. He is constantly selling and bidding and watching other people bid... one day, after I move out and travel around the world I am going to come back home to my parents house and its going to be empty except for my mom, my dad, the computer chair and the computer (opened to the ebay webpage). My little sister likes to collect things. She somehow talks my mom into buying her My Little Ponys and Polly Pockets and this years famous My Little Pet Shops, which are now lined up perfectly along the top of her dresser. One of my best friends Rachel earns, or magically gets cash, and then finds a place in her room to stash it. I don't know why she does it, but she seems to think that money is like wine. Even better once it ages. So she leaves it to marinate under her mattress, or stuffed into her bottom drawer, or ... my favorite... laid neatly in an empty Bible box. lol Quirks are peculiar actions, behaviors, or mannerisms that contribute to the full picture of an individual. Here's one for me, I think this counts as a quirk, lol I would call it more of a gift. I posses the ability to sleep in any position, anywhere, and in almost any conditions. In an armchair, on a counter, on a picnic bench, on straight up cement, music can be blaring, kids can be screaming, the building could be coming down, a storm could be rattling the windows or the walls and I would sleep right through (I think God had this gift too!) One time, my parents and I went to Help U Sell and I fell asleep in a huge uncomfortable chair as my parents were filling out paperwork and started snoring loudly. Almost every night I fall asleep with my music blaring and the lights on, or a movie going. lol I have fallen asleep in some really strange places lol my friends say I am destined to be a hobo...
Such an unoriginal thought...

I recently read a book called Love Rules. It was about three best friends a brother and a sister and the main character. The brother and main character go off to college while the sister who is deaf stays home and sends them on their way with a challenge. She challenges them to get together once a week and send her a postcard that has a rule about love written on it that they discovered that week. Even though the book itself was an unealistic teenage love story it held a real life idea in it. Love doesn't have background music. This was the fourth rule they sent back home to their best friend and it is so true. Sadly, life in general doesn't have background music. For me memories with music are so much more vivid in my mind. Today for instance, I went to the Belagio with Erin, Billy, Jonas, and Lily and on the way there we past by a big pondish thing lol that was having a water show, ya know water shooting up in the air in a fancy way lol can't explain it better than that. Anyway, there was music playing and it just made me think about how the scene at the fountain wasn't cool and enjoyable just because of the water show, without the music it would have just been water shooting up in the air. Everybody that has ever thought about what part music plays in our lives, should think about a movie. Why do we enjoy watching movies? For me... its because I get to witness a part of the character's life set to music. Imagine any movie without the crucial build up of notes when something big is about to happen, music sets the feel in a movie and if you think about, for some of us, it sets the feel of our lives.

You can't see this picture like at all but I wanted to put it in here because it is and awesome memory. This was a really busy day! We went to the Energy Fair because I love doing community service so I asked Rachel to come with me, so while I was "working" giving old people pancakes, she went around to all the booths and got us hats, mugs, frisbees, those sun shielder things, stickers, and all sorts of lame stuff. Unfortunately, I ended up losing my hat (like everything else) at Spiritual Emphasis Retreat but we used to wear them a lot and we wore them that night to Elena's ballet. It was Peter Pan and she was something I don't remember what she was but it was a lot of fun and she did good and had fun. This night began a new.... I wana say hobby but that's not quite the right word... anyway I love going to the cascade now! Anything... Russian ballets, school plays, musicals, anything! dressing up and buying tickets may not sound like the way you would want to spend a night but it's pretty awesome!
